The group came from The Casabes of Villa Mella, North Santo Domingoa sector near the Duquesa landfill, where the mother of the kidnapped baby resides.
Mrs. Nolasco arrived at the judicial headquarters with a group all carrying banners and touching cauldrons with ladles and chanting slogans of “we want justice, we want justice.”
People also offered their full support to the lawyer for the victim’s family, Miguel Surun Hernandezwho upon arriving at the scene demanded that the investigation be extended to the doctors and hospital staff.
“What is at stake is security in hospitals. We do not want a case like this to happen again and that the authorities do not stop at the material author and can investigate the health center staff,” Hernández said.
He claimed that no one without help is going to travel 130 kilometers from Nagua and is going to evade the security of a hospital.
