Faced with the crisis generated by these declarations, authorities and leaders of the regions of ArequipaPuno and Cusco, coincide in a common point: it must be clarify the sayings of the businesswoman by the president.
The regional governor of Cusco, Jean Paul Benaventepointed out that the accusations against Castillo generate uncertainty in the country, for which he asked that the president further explain the complaint.

Benavente, although he was against a possible vacancy, said that it is necessary that Castillo collaborates with the investigations, but at the same time the Public Ministry, through an investigation, determines if the statements made by López are true.
The secretary of the Departmental Federation of Workers of Arequipa (FDTA), José Luis Chapa, has a similar position. He referred that The case must be investigated quickly and the case must not be used to try to vacate to the president. “If they want to get Castillo out, we will go out to the streets to march.”
For his part, the mayor of Cusco, Víctor Boluarte, stated that, without prejudice to the investigations that must be initiated against the president, a way must be found to curb the climate of instability that exists in the country. Meanwhile, the secretary of the Departmental Federation of Workers of Cusco (FDTC), Germán Santoyo, acknowledged that the information poured against the president increases mistrust of authority.

For the leader of the Front of Popular Organizations (FOP) of Puno, Cesar Hugo Tito Rojas, Karelim López must be investigated. Must resign if allegations are proven
The Mayor of Miraflores (Arequipa) Luis Aguirre Chavezpointed out that President Pedro Castillo should resign if he committed any crime.
