Barahona. The Dominican Association of Agricultural Engineers (ADIA-RD) asked President Luis Abinader to intercede to stop the cancellations of agricultural professionals.
The organization assured that these dismissals affect professionals who for 30 and 40 years have been working in the public sector “and who for more than a year have been going through hardships, hunger and vicissitudes with their families because they do not have daily sustenance due to being canceled. without any justification ”.
Through its president, Buenaventura González Pérez, the ADIA denounced that on December 20, the engineer Guarionex Leger, a technician of high academic level who has performed the functions of regional director of Foresta, was canceled from the Ministry of the Environment. and South Regional Director of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, among others.
