The Cicpc proceeded to capture Alexandra María Andradez Salazar (26), for allegedly having neglected her three childrenwho died due to a fire inside their home, says the review of the scientific police.
Initial investigations indicate that the woman went to a party last Saturday and left the children ages 2, 5 and 7 inside the house in the La Boca sector, Santa Fé, Sucre state.
The scientific police confirmed that the fire in that house occurred due to a short circuit in the fan located in the children’s room.
Neighbors notified the fire brigade when they saw the flames but the children had already died. The remains were raised on Sunday morning by firefighters and Cicpc agents.
The mother of the minors was handed over to the Fifth Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry.
