They arrested the girlfriend of Fernando Sabag Montiel, the attacker of Cristina Kirchner

This Sunday night, the Federal Police arrested Brenda Uliarte, a romantic partner of Fernando Andrés Sabag Montiel, the alleged perpetrator of the attack against Cristina Kirchner.

The 23-year-old woman was arrested following the order of federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, who is leading the case for the attack on the vice president Cristina Kirchnerand from whom Capuchetti personally took statements.

Uliarte assured that he fears for his life because he has received threats on social networks.

Although Uliarte, the first time she was interrogated after the attack, would have confessed to the authorities that she had not seen Sabag for several days, through the investigation it was determined that the couple traveled on several lines of public transport on the day of the attack on Cristina Kirchner.

Consequently, the federal judge ordered her arrest, which was carried out this Sunday night at the Palermo station, when the woman was traveling on a train on the San Martín line.

They investigate if the attacker is linked to terrorist organizations.

The researchers determined by geolocation of communications and field tasks that Uliarte moved from a location in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas to the vicinity of the Retiro station.

In her first statements, the woman would have revealed intimate details of the attacker and assured that “he was a good person.” Even Uliarte assured that she was not related to the attack and had no knowledge of it, nor of the criminal record of her partner. She also stated that she did not understand why Sabag attacked the vice president.

Sabag’s partner will render an inquiry this Monday.

While, Sabag’s partner remains detained in Madariaga and will be investigated this Monday by prosecutor Carlos Rívolo and judge Capuchetti, who made the decision to decree the secrecy of the summary of the judicial case.

How the investigation progresses
