A subject was arrested by the troops of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (PNB) with a quarter of drug panela and more than 30 wrappers (onion type) containing narcotics, in the Ciudad Betania II urbanization of Ocumare del Tuy, Tomás Lander municipality from Miranda state.
Rockwerlin Amaya, inspector of the Operational Base of the Anti-Drug Division of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (PNB) in Valles del Tuy, reported that the officials of the PNB Anti-drug unit in this Mirandino subregion were conducting investigations in the aforementioned urban development, when they specified the individual who was engaged in the street sale and distribution of narcotics in the area.
Amaya described that the individual was seized a quarter of a panela (250 grams) of presumed marijuana, 30 portions (onion-type) of regular size containing marijuana weighing 12 grams, two medium-sized wrappers (onion-type) weighing of 28 grams, a package of marijuana weighing 138 grams, five national circulation bills and a foreign denomination (dollar) bill.
The inspector reported that the detainee responds to the name of Juan Carlos Hernández Martínez, 23 years old, who presents a record for the crime of common generic theft, according to the procedural records signed with the nomenclature No. 0957-19 of the year 2019.
He asserted that the Nineteenth Prosecutor’s Office (19th) of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in the matter of drugs of the Miranda state, knew about the police procedure, which will charge him before a Control Court of the region.
