Military clothing and ammunition of war were seized from four individuals detained in Nueva Esparta, according to data obtained from security agencies.
The procedure was carried out in the La Guardia sector, Diaz municipality (San Juan Bautista), Nueva Esparta, where agents assigned to the Directorate Against Organized Crime of the Bolivarian National Police acted.
The detainees are: Juan Carlos Quijada Quijada (38), Edicson Alexander Zerpa Mellado (28), Jhonatahan Jose Valerio Narvaez (25) and Armando Jose Rodrigues Rondón (24).
These people were carrying ten ammunition: four 7.62×59 caliber, four 5×55 caliber, one 45 caliber and one .38 caliber.
They also wore military clothing, including five olive green warrior-type shirts with logos alluding to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANb); three green ranger-type pants, a white SF-400 scale and a pair of military boots. They also had a pendant-type bag in yellow, green and red, with a central white star.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for terrorism and ammunition trafficking among other crimes.
