During patrol tasks in the town of San Juan de Los Callos, Acosta municipality, Falcón state, members of the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit (Uria) No. 13 detained Francisco Javier Mendoza Mujica, alias Cabezón.
The subject is linked to the group of drug traffickers based in the town of Sabanas Altas, Píritu municipality (Falcón), who in turn are part of the so-called narco-political network, made up of two deputies (without parliamentary immunity) and the mayor of Casigua the Cube (Zulia), among others.
Mendoza Mujica is profiled as a logistics operator and has fluid and constant bilateral connections with the members of the Sabanas Altas group that operates clandestinely on the northwestern coast of the country.
A cell phone and a notebook were seized from the subject.
