The Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigations (cicpc) stopped Carlos Glislander Sánchez Barrios, 18 years oldaccused of murdering José Rodolfo Peña, 71, in the state of Barinas.

The police version indicates that the detainee set fire to the victim’s house because his ex-girlfriend, a 16-year-old girl, lived there.

The man, not accepting that they had finished, decided to scare the family by throwing several articles of clothing on fire. However, the flames consumed the structure and caused the death of the septuagenarian.
The victim was transferred to the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital. According to reports, the man had burns on 42% of his body surface, especially in the face, neck and hands, which led to his death on January 7.
For his part, the perpetrator was found in the Punta Gorda sector, Corazón de Jesús parish, Barinas municipality and state. Now it was at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
