During the police operation “Impact 2025”, agents of the Police Division of Chachamayo achieved the arrest of Diana Carolina Verástegui Martínez (36), for the alleged crime against the public administration in the modality of peculation of use.

The intervention was held on September 2, between 5:00 and 7:00 in the afternoon, at the facilities of the Julio César DeMarini Caro hospital, with the supervision of the largest PNP John William Castillo Villanueva, head of the Department of Criminal Investigation.

The diligence was carried out in coordination with the deputy prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office Anti -Corruption of Chanchamayo, Percy Rojas Paredes, who ordered the corresponding legal actions. The detainee was available to the competent authorities to continue investigations.
