The Police arrested this Monday the owner of the Santiago Vázquez property in which two bodies were found last weekAs reported Telemundo and confirmed The Observer with sources from the Ministry of the Interior.
The man, prime suspect in the murder and burying of two people, was found at the corner of Colonia and Tristán Narvajain the Cordón neighborhood.
None of the bodies have been identified at this time, but they are presumed to be from two women.
Last Thursday night, a body had been found in a septic tank, presumably that of Ahilén Casavieja, a 16-year-old teenager who had been missing since the early hours of February 12, after getting into a taxi. On Friday, skeletal remains of a second person were found inside a refrigerator.
The Montevideo Police Chief, Mario D’Elía, had reported that the existence of more bodies in the same property could not be ruled out.
