They arrested 14 employees of the Llenadero de Yagua

A total of 14 employees of the Cumbustible Distribution and Filling Plant located in Yagua, Valencia municipality (Carabobo), were arrested for allegedly being involved in illegal gasoline trafficking and marketing, according to military sources.

The procedure was carried out by agents attached to the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command 41 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).

The officials seized 171 plastic containers of different capacities, for a total of 4,000 liters of gasoline. In addition, they seized 10 vehicles of different models.

Among those detained in this procedure are Jorge Luis Sequera Romero, Víctor Jonás Ortiz Sandoval, Leonardo José Fernández Quero, and Héctor José Suárez Guillen, who worked as operators attached to the Industrial Security Directorate, the report says.

They also captured Dany José Petit Lugo and German Alberto Quintero Toledo, who worked as filling operators. The list of detainees also includes Víctor Manuel Ramos Hidalgo (firefighter), Reinaldo Rodríguez Castro (operations shift supervisor), Anthony Eduardo Rodríguez Pacheco, Emilio José Riera Romero, Rivero Barrios Henry Jonatán (dispatch technicians), Steven Leonardo Noguera Soto , (consolista), Luis José Estrada Parra and Nexcys Alexander Marino Lara, (pumping plant operators).

The detainees are members of the criminal group Los Gasolineros de Yagua and were handed over to the Public Ministry.

The Conas is investigating the connections of this group of detainees with police and military officials who are allegedly involved in the illegal business of fuel stolen from the Yagua filler.

The aforementioned plant, belonging to PDVSA, is considered the second fuel distribution center in the country, where tankers are supplied that later supply gas stations located in the central region, among others.
