They arrested 10 subjects with war material

The Aragua state police arrested six members of criminal gangs, who were carrying various war materials, which were confiscated, according to reports.
One of these procedures was carried out in Cagua, where two people were detained, who possessed “a significant amount of 7.62 x 51 mm caliber ammunition, specifically designed for the light automatic rifle (FAL),” says the report posted on Poliaragua’s Instagram.

“This type of ammunition is classified as war material, which represents a serious risk to the peace and security of the State,” says the Poliaragua publication.

In the Santiago Mariño municipality (Turmero), there were two procedures, one of them carried out in the Prado de Paya I sector, where Eddy Mayovisqui Martínez Ramírez (44), Solangel del Carmen Martínez Bastardo (34) and Víctor Manuel Alvarado Romero (21) were arrested.

From this trio they seized “an arsenal consisting of ammunition of different calibers, a charger for an AK weapon, a cell phone and a drone used to monitor security forces,” the report describes.

The other procedure carried out in the Santiago Mariño municipality took place in the Betania del Rosario de Paya neighborhood, where Kevin Josué Díaz (El Gatillero), a member of the criminal gang founded by Anthony José Ortiz Pérez (26), nicknamed El Marihuano, was killed. This last subject was also killed last week in the Los Angelinos sector, San Mateo (Aragua).

And in La Victoria (Aragua), Soco sector, police agents detained a subject nicknamed El Tuti, a member of the now dismantled criminal group El Juancito, from whom they seized a .357 caliber revolver, six cartridges of the same caliber, a tear gas grenade and a radio transmitter.

The subject was handed over to the Public Ministry, where a file was opened for illegal possession of a firearm, possession of war material and alleged trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances.

In the state of Miranda, a procedure was also carried out with the seizure of war material, according to reports collected. The operation occurred in the La Pastora sector, Acevedo municipality (Caucagua). A police-military commission acted in the aforementioned place and detected and destroyed 10 hideouts belonging to the El Geiber criminal gang. At the site, officials recovered an AR15 rifle, two magazines with 31 5.56 x 45 mm caliber ammunition, a Jerico 9 mm pistol (reported as stolen) and two 12-gauge Maverick shotguns, according to the minutes.

They also located a group of machetes used in the dismemberment of a person, as well as three cell phones and military supplies.

In the state of Zulia, four members of the gang founded by Mauricio José Luzardo Rondón (El Mauricio) were captured. One of the detainees is Osmán Grabiel Urdaneta Araujo (26), who served as El Mauricio’s lieutenant and is being investigated for the murders of three extortion victims. Together with Osman, they captured José David Marín Chirinos (29), from whom they seized 20 rifle cartridges.

Néstor Luis Portillo Semprún (39) is another of the detained partners of El Mauricio. He was in charge of the logistics of the criminal organization; He was dedicated to hiring hitmen and receiving extortion money. The fourth detainee is Iván Antonio Méndez Terán (49), from whom a Glock pistol was confiscated.

Agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrested a member of the El Antonio cell, associated with the Tren del Llano, a criminal structure that is in the process of being dismantled as a result of Operation Zaraza, carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb). In this case, the subject was captured in Las Garcitas, Valle de la Pascua sector (Guárico). The officials noticed the man’s behavior and asked him to open the bag he was carrying, where they located a 7.62 x 51 caliber rifle magazine along with multiple ammunition of the same caliber and a cell phone. The El Antonio cell also operates in Tucupido, a neighboring town of Valle de la Pascua, where they also charge producers for vaccines in dollars.
