They arrest two people for the disappearance of a taxi driver in Moca

The National Police reported on the arrest of two people linked to the disappearance of Alfred Joel Fernándezthe taxi driver who was last seen on January 22 after going out to offer a service in Moca, Espaillat province.

The detainees are Lisset Miguelina Reyes Ramos de Pichardo and Joel Isidro Liriano Ureñamother and ex -partner Clara Inés Sánchez, main suspicious of the case and currently fugitive.

According to Liriano Ureña, he has not had contact with Sánchez since he sent his children with his mother on February 10. Meanwhile, Reyes Ramos claimed to have arrived from the US on January 30 after a call from his daughter to take care of the children, without having communicated with her again.

Sánchez’s mother published a video on social networks asking him to give the authorities.

For his part, the police spokesman, Diego Pesqueirainformed that Fernández’s vehicle was subjected to forensic analysis, finding suspicious traces that are being evaluated.

In addition, the investigations have identified three people who were with the taxi driver before their disappearance.

Next to Clara Inés Sánchezare fugitives Juan Manuel Lantigua Veras (alias Salcochao) and Julio José Vargas Díaz (alias Ñacoña or Bulin)indicated by Association of Malchechores, theft and use of weapons on public roads.

Police He warns that fugitives are strongly armed and represent a high danger.
