They arrest three people for wanting to introduce drugs to Fénix

Three citizens were detained in flagrante delicto when they tried to sneak suspected drugs into the Fénix prison in Lara state (Barquisimeto).

The officials assigned to the fourth company of the Detachment number 121 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) when carrying out check-up tasks managed to seize from the aforementioned group of people, six (06) wrappers of transparent synthetic material containing an alleged drug called cocaine.

‌With the support of officials from the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit (Uria) number 12 belonging to the state of Lara, they carried out this exhaustive review procedure, in this case of two women and one man, before they were admitted to the prison compound located in the Valles de Uribana sector, in the Tamaca parish of the Iribarren municipality (Barquisimeto).

They reported that it was an amount with an approximate gross weight of three hundred and twenty-seven (327) grams, “which were intended to be introduced into three double-bottomed parcel bags in the concealment mode inside the prison” is collected in the bill.

The action is already placed at the order of the Public Ministry in the Larense entity.
