Santo Domingo.- Agents of the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry, carried out 15 raids and several interdiction operations, against the microtraffic of controlled substances, carried out in the province of La Altagracia.
The authorities seized more than 3,500 grams of different drugsas well as several marijuana plants, which were cultivated by several individuals in a house in that demarcation.
They also arrested 10 people and seized 965 grams of cocaine, 2,495 grams of marijuana, 89 grams of crack, 56 grams of hashish and 28 ecstasy pills, for a total of 3,605 grams of controlled substances.
In addition, 33 marijuana plants were taken care of, in a small crop equipped with lamps and evaporators, lights, thermometers, air conditioners and fans.
Scales, plasticizers, scissors, several rulers and several plastic pots with unknown substances were also found.
The neighborhoods of the province of La Altagracia, which were intervened in this operation against drug micro-trafficking, were Chilo Poueriet, Las Malenas, Juan Pablo Duarte, Villa María, Nazaret, San Pedro, Mamá Tingo, Los Sotos, Villa Cerro, among others.
