Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigation Corps (Cicpc) arrested Kairo Samuel Saavedra Paraco (24) and Yoikler José Saavedra Rondón (19), who are allegedly responsible for the murder of Jorge Emilio Figueroa Figueroa (67), an event that occurred in the Santa Clara sector, Caruao de La Guaira parish.
According to the police report, during the night of December 19, the detainees waited for the victim to move through the Santa Clara sector, where they intercepted and subdued him, forcing him to hand over several valuable objects that he had in his possession. can.
Subsequently, they led him gagged to the shore of the nearby beach, violently blinding his life with a piece of wood.
The subjects dug a grave and buried the lifeless body in order to hide the macabre crime.
The investigations carried out by the scientific police led them to find the lifeless body of Figueroa, in the afternoon of Saturday, December 21.
The police officers collected as evidence a wooden strip, a segment of rope, a pea-type excavation tool and a piece of cloth.
Both subjects were placed under the command of the Second Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the state of La Guaira.
