They arrest and dictate preventive detention to the alleged owner of the mine "Pinabete"

The Control Judge assigned to the Federal Criminal Justice Center, with residence in Torreón, will decide on the legal situation of the detainee and will continue with the hearing on September 29.

In addition, the Attorney General’s Office reported that it continues with the search for the other two defendants to present them before Justice. These are the businessmen Luis Rafael García and Arnulfo Garza, the two identified as allegedly responsible for illegally carrying out coal exploitation activities.

The Prosecutor’s Office reported that the arrest occurred on Cananea Agujita street, Cosedores neighborhood, in Sabinas. The subject was placed at the disposal of the Control Judge.

Members of the organization Familia Pasta de Conchos have pointed out since the beginning of the collapse that Solís is just a front man, for which they have demanded that those directly responsible for the illegal exploitation of the mine be reached.

On August 3, the mine shaft collapsed, apparently caused by flooding. Since then, the authorities began work to drain the water and proceed to the rescue, without success.
