Rosa Isela was reported missing on November 30, after going to the Port of Veracruz to meet a woman, who contacted her through social networks and offered to give her clothes for her unborn baby.
According to local media, a camera captured the moment in which a woman comes to meet the young woman, takes her by the waist while checking her surroundings and leads her to a vehicle.
However, the young woman was found lifeless and without her baby in the early hours of December 3 at Rancho Los Arrieros, Rancho del Padre, in the municipality of Medellín Bravo.

The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Investigation of Crimes of Violence Against the Family, Women, Girls and Boys and Human Trafficking initiated an investigation folder for the crime of femicide against Verónica ‘N’ and Gonzalo ‘N’ as the alleged perpetrators.
“At the time of their arrest they had a newborn minor with them, who was rescued safe and sound and is already receiving attention from the corresponding authorities,” the Prosecutor’s Office reported.
The detainees will be presented at an initial hearing before a judge of trial and oral criminal procedure of the judicial district of Veracruz, to define their legal situation, the agency added.
“The State Attorney General endorses that there will be no impunity for those who assault a woman,” he added.
