The Police and the Prosecutor’s Office arrested a 59-year-old man after the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) detected that He loaded his vehicle with 1,000 liters weekly. with the purpose of breaking them up and reselling them in plastic bottles.

The departmental prosecutor of Santa Cruz, Alberto Zeballos, indicated that the arrested person was identified as Miguel QC, who is being prosecuted for the alleged commission of the crimes of illegal fuel storage and marketing in the municipality of Warnes.

“It was verified that the subject loaded at least 1,000 liters of fuel per week. The motorized vehicle that was used to carry out the loads was identified irregulars and the person who was driving it, in that sense the process was opened and the tax arrest resolution was immediately issued,” said Zeballos.

The formal complaint was filed by the ANH in the municipality of Warnes, after detect that the subject carried 100 to 200 liters per day of fuel to your engine, making a total of more than 1,000 liters per week. It is presumed that he then divided it into bottles to market it.

The subject was arrested and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for their respective investigation.
