They arrest a man accused of stabbing his wife to death in Cusco

Agents belonging to the Santo Tomás Police Station (Cusco) intervened on a subject for the alleged crime against life, body and health, feminicide of his spouse, an event recorded last Saturday at 03:40 a.m. in a home located in Peru Avenue in the Santo Tomás district.

Braulio Mendoza (45) is the individual arrested for femicide, to the detriment of his spouse QEVF Lidia Cusi (46). Upon becoming aware of the alleged feminicide, the Police went to the scene and found the victim’s body with multiple sharp object wounds, which is why police personnel proceeded to isolate the crime scene.

Law enforcement officers immediately carried out investigations into the case.becoming aware that a fight had occurred and the subsequent death of the victim, proceeding to search and locate the subject Braulio Mendoza, who was at his second home located on José Olaya Street in the Cerro Colorado neighborhood of the Santo Tomás district.

According to the Police, at the time of the intervention the accused was carrying his youngest son and seemed very nervous, Blood stains were also found on his clothing, Thus, his arrest was carried out to continue with the legal proceedings together with the Specialized Corporate Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Chumbivilcas.
