A Dominican citizen, 53 years old; He was detained by inspectors from the National Migration Service (SNM) at the Comprehensive Control post in Guabalá, Chiriquí province, because he was wanted by international authorities.
According to the SNM, when they verified the status of the foreigner, they detected that he was required by immigration authorities for evasion of checkpoints and impediment.

In coordination with the INTERPOL office, the data was collated and the alert system showed that the subject has a criminal record in his country of origin, as well as in Trinidad and Tobago for forgery, fraud and gang activity.

The man also carried a Costa Rican passport, which had inconsistencies in its data.

The foreigner remains at the Guabalá Comprehensive Control Post, waiting to be transferred to Panama City by the staff of the Field Action Migratory Unit (UMAC)
