The Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) arrested a couple (both 40 years old) accused of buying a seven-month-old baby in Cochabamba. The girl was rescued and is in the custody of the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents.
“We received a complaint on November 28, in the sense that a woman had sold a seven-month-old baby to a couple. In these circumstances, under the reservation of investigation, we can establish that there was a woman who had a month-old baby who was no longer in her power, ”the departmental commander of the Cochabamba Police, Miguel Lobatón, reported yesterday.
The officer reported that the baby was delivered in exchange for 3,000 bolivianos.

“She is very well, the psychological evaluation has been done, she has not suffered any problem. Now, she is under (the care of) the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents, so that they can ensure her well-being, ”she specified.
It is known that the girl’s mother has several children and is not in Cochabamba, but she was summoned to give her statement.
The Police clarified that both detainees have no criminal record and cooperated with the investigation, claiming that they were unaware of the rules.
