They arrest 28 undocumented Haitians in Valverde and Montecristi

He Army of Dominican Republic arrested 28 nationals haitians with irregular immigration status, who were traveling in three vehicles in the municipal district of Jicomé, in Mao, Valverde, and in the municipality of Guayubín, province Montecristi.

A press release from Army from the RD reports that in a Kia vehicle, model K5, 13 were transported foreigners without due documentationamong them 12 men and one woman, in the community of Jicomé.

While in that same demarcation, troops of the Army They stopped a brand car Toyota Camrygreen, driven by a man identified as Javier Martínez, who was transporting 11 haitians10 males and one female.

Likewise, in the sector Rancherofrom the municipality of Guayubín, province Montecristia Nissan Sentra vehicle was stopped, inside which there were four undocumented immigrants, all male.

The drivers of two of the vehicles, upon realizing the military presence, began the flightwhile the detainee was sent to the Public Ministry to subject him to the action of justice.

The foreigners were delivered to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the corresponding purposes.
