The National Police assured that it maintains strong operations together with the Public Ministry in various sectors of the province of Colón, in search of those allegedly involved in an act of violence registered this Sunday afternoon in the La Feria sector, Cristóbal corregimiento, where a child under the age of three died and another was injured with a firearm.
The incident occurred during a sports activity that was taking place in the La Feria sector, where a group of men showed up, who shot at others who were already in the place. In the midst of these two minors were kept, who were injured, one of them losing their lives.
The specialized Investigation and Intelligence teams remain in place carrying out all legal proceedings with the Public Ministry in order to clarify the facts.
The National Police reiterates that it will not rest until it finds those responsible for this unfortunate event and requests the collaboration of citizens who have information to help locate these people, provide it to line 104 or telephone 524-2525 or 511-9081. .
