SANTIAGO. The Cibao Central Regional Command of the National Police reported this morning who is looking for the second man who participated in the robbery of a grocery store where an employee of the business died and who was the son of the owner.
Fiordaliza Popa Arias, spokesperson for the National Police in this city, indicated that the named Ebel Noel Reinoso Dolville (Doble K) is being sought for his alleged participation in the robbery against the “Los Mellos” grocery store, where the young Jefrey Escarramán Vargas died, when confronting the robbers.
In that same event, Luis Rafael Monción Reyes was wounded by a gunshot, and was detained by police authorities when he showed up at the emergency room at the José María Cabral y Báez regional university hospital, after the event.
The “Los Mellos” grocery store is located on Paseo de los Periodistas avenue, Villa Olímpica sector, in the South Zone. Obdulio Escarramán, father and owner of the grocery store, stated that when the robbers arrived at his business, he was in the back and that he struggled with one of them, but could not prevent them from killing his son.
