He National Institute of Aquatic SpacesINEA, reported this Friday that the search continues for three crew members of the fishing vessel “Río Catatumbo”, which capsized near the Los Frailes Archipelago.
Through its account on the social network Twitter, INEA reported that so far two survivors and one deceased have been reported.
“The search work continues for 3 crew members of the boat fishing boat “Rio Catatumbo” that capsized in the areas adjacent to the Los Frailes Archipelago, according to the testimony of 2 rescued survivors. So far, 1 death has been reported” published the INEA.
Likewise, the institute reported that the work is carried out in coordination with the coastal surveillance vessel GC-24 “Hugo Chávez” of the Coast Guard Command of the Navy, and the fishermen of the area.
“We work in coordination with the coastal surveillance vessel GC-24 “Hugo Chávez” from @AB_Guardacostas and with the fishing community in the search for the other 3 missing crew members,” he said.
In addition, INEA reported that the fishing boat “Río Catatumbo” was recovered and inspected.
