The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, agreed with the president of CAF-Development Bank for Latin America, Sergio Diaz Granados, a gas works plan for 540 million dollars which will be approved next March, as officially reported.
In a statement, the Palacio de Hacienda explained that “The plan consists of disbursing 540 million dollars for the construction of the La Carlota-Tío Pujio gas pipeline, the Reversal del Norte and the compression plants.”
The works program will increase the gas supply to the north of the country through Vaca Muertaand will increase the possibilities of gas export volumes to Chile and Brazil.
“We have closed, together with CAF, the Gas Works Plan which will be approved in March and it will be 540 million dollars to build the La Carlota-Tío Pujio gas pipeline, the Reversal del Norte and the compression plants,” said Massa.

Of the meeting, In addition to Minister Massa, the director of INDEC, Marco Lavagna and Leonardo Madcur on behalf of the Ministry of Economy; the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royon; the president of Enarsa, Agustín Gerez; the undersecretary of International Financial Relations for Development, Leandro Gorgal; and the National Director of Strategic Prioritization of External Financing, Mauro Conti.
For the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) were present the vice president of CAF, Christian Asinelli; the representative of CAF, Patricia Alborta; and Jorge Srur, CAF’s Southern Regional Manager.
