The most important day is just a few hours away. The Population and Housing Census will be tomorrow, Wednesday, and the most important details are presented in this note.
Since 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. the traffic restriction applies on November 9, so that the census takers can collect the data house by house and the population figures are renewed after 10 years of waiting.
Within the decree are the exceptions to this measure, that is, those who will be able to leave their homes that day:
National, departmental, municipal authorities, diplomatic authorities and representatives of international organizations for the exercise of their urgent functions, public and private sector officials for the provision of essential services; public and private health services, preventive and emergency maintenance services for medical and hospital equipment, health personnel, Military and Police Forces, migratory activity, meteorological service, firefighters and air traffic control, who are in active service on that date .
People who must assist others with disabilities and older adults.
Media workers for the provision of their services.
People affected by the activities of the census.
Maintenance of basic services (water, electricity, communications), and emergencies.
Activities that the Central Bank of Paraguay has essential to guarantee the functioning of the banking and financial system.
Logistics Chain (ports, river ships, shipping lines).
Funeral services.

Pharmacies located in the vicinity of public hospitals and private sanatoriums, up to a maximum distance of 100 (one hundred) meters, will operate under a guard system with the minimum number of officials.
Participants in Seminars and/or International Congresses scheduled in advance of the enactment of Law 6987/2022.
Essential workers for the operation of hotels that have clients staying on that date. These guests will be registered under the modality of collective housing.
Telecommunications, fixed and mobile internet, digital services and call center activities.
Essential surveillance, cleaning and guard services.

Those activities not contemplated in these regulations: they will be handled by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in coordination with the Institution or Organization responsible for the affected area.
QUESTIONNAIRE IS ALREADY ON THE WEB, JUST READ IT
The census questionnaire published on the INE website is for the purpose of citizens know its content and not so to print it and complete it on your own. the collection of data will be done physically and in person by the volunteers.
Census takers will identify themselves with a credential signed by the National Director of the INE, where they carry their Identity Card. The credential has a QR code with a direct link to the data uploaded to the INE web platform.
They will also carry in their hands a folder indicating the sector that corresponds to census which is also identified with the symbols of the Census. In the folder are the forms and the Census Questionnaire. They will also carry a bag with the Census logo.
the census taker You should not go through the house, nor take photos of the facade or the belongings of the house, they will not ask for signatures or moneynor will they be able to request data that does not appear in the census questionnaire (here you can see the document).
