They approve in third debate Bill that encourages electric mobility

In the third debate, the bill that encourages electric mobility in the country was approved.

If it becomes a Law of the Republic, incentives would be given such as exemption from import tax and plate payment for five years, since a green plate would be established, preferential parking should also be established.

According to the proposing deputy Edison Broce, the project establishes that both public transport and government entities must replace their fleets of vehicles that use gasoline, for electric fleets. This process would be done gradually and it is expected that they will be replaced by 2030.

The purposes of this law are mainly to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote the use of renewable energies.
