From the early hours of this Thursday, the National Police in coordination with the Public Ministry, carried out the International Operation “Light in Childhood 9”, in San Miguelito, Panama, West Panama and Chiriquí.
According to police reports, this operation is carried out in a synchronized and coordinated manner in the countries of Argentina, the United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Costa Rica and Panama.
The Public Ministry announced that during these search proceedings, five people were arrested for the alleged crime of child pornography. Technological items were also seized.
In the next few hours, these people will be brought before a guarantee judge to legalize their arrest.
