Merchants located in the Tres Bocas construction zone will demonstrate this Tuesday demanding payment of compensation. They also claim an “excessive slowness” in the progress of the work.

This Tuesday from 07:00 a.m. the demonstration is expected by frontists from the Tres Bocas construction zone.

One of the spokespersons for the sector, María Melgarejo, told Universo 970 of Grupo Nación Media that businesses are increasingly affected and the assistance promised by the Government does not arrive.

“Businesses went bankrupt, small merchants and large ones too, they all closed. They said that in 18 months they would finish the work, but it’s been more than a year and we see that not even 40% is finished,” said Melgarejo.

He explained that despite the promulgation of the decree that enables assistance, they still do not receive said benefit. In addition, the question is that the regulations exclude those merchants who do not have all their documentation in order.
