The Cuban Football Association (AFC) announced to JIT the alternative national team that will participate in the quadrangular tournament that will host the Pedro Marrero National Stadium on the next FIFA date.
The squad is made up of the most outstanding players of the Opening Tournament of the 106th National Soccer League, who have prospects to join the senior team in future commitments.
According to AFC directors, this tournament, in which two teams from the under-20 pre-selection team and the leader of the western zone of the Apertura, Artemisa, will also participate, becomes an important opportunity to observe the players with the greatest possibilities who would hardly see minutes in the friendlies of the Caribbean Lions against Guatemala and Belize.
The list includes athletes who have been part of the senior team on several occasions, such as midfielders Neisser Sandó and York González, among others.
It has ample quality up front, with figures such as Roberney Caballero, Christian Flores, Juan Manuel Andreus and the leading scorer in the League, Dorgy Rajadel from Cienfuegos.
