Relatives and associates of Alcides Ramón Ortega (39), who died inside his burned-out vehicle on June 17 in the city of Capiatá, are calling citizens to a caravan that will reach the Police Headquarters, in which they will demand the clarification of his death.
According to a statement by relatives and close friends, Alcides Ramón Orteg, worked as a customs broker and weeks ago reported that another of his vehicles had already been incinerated under similar circumstances, but on that occasion he managed to escape.
The announced caravan will depart from the city of Fernando de la Mora, South Zone, at 8:00 this Saturday and will arrive at the Police Headquarters at approximately 10:30, where they will deliver a note to the commander, Crio. General Gilberto Fleitas Colmán, in which they exhort to arbitrate all the means to clarify the facts, and in this way justice is done in this case.
Likewise, the relatives of the deceased request an exhaustive investigation of what happened. “What we know from private investigations is that he was harassed by a person who demanded that he return the money from an alleged commission for work done,” they point out.
The relatives seek to reach the person who summoned Ortega on June 2, in the first episode, from where they kidnapped him.
“We want and we will not rest until we get justice. And that those guilty of this horrendous crime pay for what they did,” they say.
The car, with Ortega already deceased inside, was found last Friday June 17around 2:00 p.m., on a private property in the San Miguel neighborhood, at km 22/5 of route PY02, city of Capiatá.
