After the High Level Economic Dialogue (DEAN) held yesterday in the country’s capital, the governments of Mexico and the United States are already preparing a new meeting to discuss security issues, which will be held on October 13.
The Mexican ambassador to the United States, Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, reported that the next meeting between delegations from the governments of Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Joe Biden is already being planned, which is related to the Bicentennial Understanding, a joint security plan adopted by both countries in October 2021.
Preparations for the North American Leaders Summit to be held in December in Mexico, in which López Obrador, Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will meet, are also continuing, Moctezuma said in a video posted on social networks.
