So far four alliances were registered to participate in the general elections convened for next August 17, the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) reported four hours after the conclusion of the period set for the closure of the registrations.
Until noon, the official record of three alliances was known (Free, Popular Alliance and Unit Alliance), but in the last hours the TSE was also presented Freedom and Progress Alliance DNA.
While “the number of 10 political organizations (or parties) who communicated their decision to participate” of the elections, said Luis Fernando Arteaga, secretary of the TSE Chamber Secretary.
