This May 12, the Risk Staff was activated in the city of Caracas, together with the Ministry of People’s Power for Ecosocialism and the Ministry of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, due to the arrival of rainfall, reported the mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador de Caracas municipality, A/J Carmen Meléndez, through her social networks.
In the message released, the burgomaster pointed out that “in the capital city we have prepared for the rainy season by maintaining streams, gullies and trees. In this deployment, which started from the Hugo Chávez park, we delivered equipment for the community meteorological bases”.
“In Caracas we are prepared for the arrival of the rains, with a plan in which we work in advance to protect the people. Thus, we constantly clean sewers, streams and different spaces. Prevention is essential,” said the admiral.
In turn, he indicated that this is done “in order to prevent all these problems that the arrival of rains in the city can cause us and, in turn, maintain a clean city as we all deserve.”
