They activate red alert for rains in Iztapalapa; Metro line A stations close

Civil Protection recommends avoiding areas with a risk of flooding, saving important documents in sealed plastic bags, disconnecting electrical devices and staying pending updates on the official social networks of X and Facebook.

Due to the rains, the service was suspended in five stations of line A of the Metro, due to the accumulation of drainage water in the municipality of La Paz, in the State of Mexico, so the stations of Peñón Viejo, Acatitla, Santa Marta, Los Reyes and La Paz are not open to the public.

Vehicles of the passenger transport network (RTP) give Santa Marta provisional service to Guelatao, while among the Pantitlán to Guelatao stations there is a subway service.

There is orange alert in the mayor of Tláhuac, Tlalpan and Xochimilco, where rains of between 30 and 49 millimeters are expected; While there is yellow alert for rains in Álvaro Obregón, Azcapotzalco, Benito Juárez, Coyoacán, Cuauhtémoc, Cuajimalpa, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Magdalena Contreras, Miguel Hidalgo, Milpa Alta and Venustiano Carranza, where precipitation of between 15 and 29 millimeters are foreseen.
