The Sectoral Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, delivered 12 trucks, 50 motorcycles and 50 telephones for the activation of the 50 Quadrants of Peace, in Guarenas, Miranda state.
The Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace also revealed that each 4 peace quadrants will have a patrol, each communal circuit will be assigned a motorcycle and a telephone to stay connected in case of any eventuality.
“We had this act pending, we had the task of delivering to the community, to the communal councils, to the communes, everything required for the activation of the peace quadrants, as our brother president Nicolás Maduro gave the order. Each communal circuit must have its peace quadrant and we have been advancing throughout the national territory” – he expressed.
In this way, the Mirandino axis went from having 38 to 50 communal circuits: 24 in Guarenas, which group 246 communal councils, and 26 in Guatire, with 278 communal councils.
Next, he strongly asked the People’s Power that the patrols move in the area of the four communal circuits, “unless an emergency occurs, such as the transfer of injured and sick people.”
He also referred to the future placement of cameras on public roads, in order to exercise greater control against crime.
Transportation units delivered must be at the service of the community
Minister Diosdado Cabello indicated that the transportation units delivered to the security forces must be at the service of the community.
Next, he reiterated the call to the uniformed officers to visit the schools and approach the children, “because if we have to protect anyone, it is our boys and girls”; and be ready to meet the needs of the communities.
“This is next Sunday, November 23, a new consultation is coming, it would be ideal, for example, for this patrol to serve to transport people so they can vote with all the security measures,” he added.
Finally, Cabello ratified the commitment of the Venezuelan State to the preservation of peace and invited opposition representatives who hold public office to work together for the well-being of the People.
Governor Serrano: we must adapt all the quadrants of peace
For his part, Governor Elio Serrano stated that the main objective is to adapt all Peace Quadrants of the 468 Communes that the Miranda state has.
“Each Peace Quadrant will not only have the possibility of mobilizing with a motorized unit, but will also have the assignment of a patrol-type vehicle,” he explained.
He emphasized that both the motorized unit and the patrol do not belong to the police force “they belong to the territory, to the commune.”

Naibelyn Martínez, spokesperson for the 27 de Febrero Commune, celebrated the activation of the Peace Quadrants as a dream come true. “The community members of Guarenas and Guatire are willing to work to maintain peace in the axis,” he stated.
With this initiative, Guarenas and Guatire are positioned as leaders in the implementation of citizen security policies based on popular participation and institutional coordination.
