Prosecutors Osmar Legal and Alma Zayas accused the judicial official who was arrested yesterday when he wanted to steal checks that were deposited in a court in an open proceeding against Ramón González Daher.

The background of the case reveals that on September 30, 2022, at 11:00, Néstor Zárate Lovera, an official of the Criminal Court of Guarantees No. 7 of the Judicial Power of Asunción, He would have appeared before the secretariat of the Criminal Court of Guarantees No. 9, in charge of Judge Rolando Duarte, and asked the official Iván Fleitas the possibility of locating checks that had been presented in the framework of the case entitled “Ramón González Daher s/Breakage Deposit and Extortion”. Likewise, he would have mentioned that he wanted access to checks that are part of the case, and would have indicated that he would give her money.

Through messages, Iván Fleitas and Néstor Zárate Lovera, had a conversation in which the latter would have requested photos of the accusation and would also have sent a photo of the check that they intended to access, which was presented within the framework of the aforementioned case. , so that Iván Fleitas proceeds with the search and physically facilitates him.
Later, on October 12, Néstor Zárate Lovera, during a meeting he had with Iván Fleitas, would have told him that there was the sum of G. 1,000,000: G. 500,000 for each one, so that he could locate a check that would be found as evidence in a case processed before the Criminal Court of Guarantees.
Finally, On October 13, at 1:30 p.m., there was a new meeting between Iván Fleitas and Néstor Zárate, in which the latter gave him G. 200,000 in the Plaza de la Justicia. Due to the fact that the documents required by Néstor Zárate Lovera were not delivered, today, October 14, at 12:13, a new meeting took place on public roads, in front of a place located on Mariano Roque Alonso Street, on the corner of Testanova, in Asunción. .
A controlled delivery was made there and on that occasion Iván Fleitas delivered a manila envelope to Nestor Zárate Lovera. When this act was seen, the uniformed officers proceeded to arrest Néstor Zárate Lovera in flagrante delicto, according to the records of the tax procedure record.
