According to Dane, regarding the sex of the employed population, a parity relationship is presented, where it is highlighted that the growth of jobs held by women, which reached 1,177,000, It was 15% higher than the 1,019,000 jobs held by men that were generated between May 2021 and 2022.

Regarding the sectors that generated the most jobs for the fifth month of 2022, 44% of the 2,196,000 jobs recovered were generated by three sectors mainly.
First, the entertainment sector, artistic activities, recreation and other service activities, with a contribution of 396,000 jobs. Followed by agricultural activities, which generated 342,000 new jobs. And, in third place, transport and storage activities with 314,000.
For Oviedo, “These results show an important recovery of sports, entertainment, and cultural activities, and the start of the agricultural production cycle that leads to the creation of 342,000 jobs, and above all, public land transportation is driving, to a large extent, the creation of jobs“.
