The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeste) announced a temporary suspension of the electrical service the early hours of Sunday, November 23 and Monday, November 24 in peripheral sectors of the Las Américas Highway, at the request of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC).
He power outage aims to achieve the cooling of overhead power lines in the kilometer 10 and 12 and a half of the aforementioned road, for “the dismantling and transfer of the beams of the pedestrian crossings located in said sections.”

Edeeste highlighted that the Public Works works, coordinated by the Autopista Las Américas Consortium, are planned to be carried out both days from 12:00 at night until 4:00 in the morning.
Affected sectors
In this sense, the distribution company indicated that the circuits to be de-energized will be VDU801, which includes the Arismar sectorsBarrio Nuevo, Campechito, Los Farallones, Frailes I, Farallones, Los Tres Ojos, Lots and Services, Maquiteria, Marbella III and Residential Parque del Este.
Furthermore, the ERBI04 circuitwhich includes the sectors Barrio Nuevo, Frailes II and III, Marbella II and III, Molinos-América, San Bartolo de Los Frailes and Farallones.
The distributor called on customers residing in the indicated sectors, to have patience and the confidence that electrical service will be restored as the work indicated by the Ministry of Works Public and Communications.
