RAÚL NOBLECILLA – I
Pure show
Raúl Noblecilla, the lawyer of former Prime Minister Betssy Chávez, once again put on quite a show. This time the scene was the Judiciary where he had the audacity to present an allegedly forged medical certificate to justify the absence of his client who, by the way, has not been seen in the slightest for a long time – on Friday he did not appear before the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations either.
RAÚL NOBLECILLA – II
bad move
The Special Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court reported that the clinic where the conceited Aníbal Torres was supposedly treated denied this version, and added that the doctor who signs the break has not worked there for several years. The trick went badly for Noblecilla: he was expelled from the courtroom, he will not be able to participate in 6 hearings and he was suspended from practicing as a lawyer for two months. Cara got the joke.
ALEJANDRO SALAS
Picon?
Former minister Alejandro Salas no longer advocates for his former boss Pedro Castillo. Now he is facing another unpresentable man, Martín Vizcarra and, like him, he wasted no time in throwing some darts at President José Jerí. “He is insecure, complaining, I didn’t see him with that personality that he now tries to impose,” he commented. And he added: “We campaigned together (in Somos Perú), he beat me by 400 votes…”. Ahhhh, having said it before, here is the mother of the lamb, isn’t it?
PEDRO CASTILLO
Hallucinate
The coup plotter Pedro Castillo continues to hallucinate. Last week he said it in the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations of Congress – “We are going to meet at the Government Palace, we will see each other at the change of command” – and yesterday, in the oral trial following him for the 2022 coup d’état, he reiterated that “in April 2026 we are going to recover the government”, while giving his support to Roberto Sánchez. Almost a political proclamation, and all in the sight and patience of the judges.
JAVIER MILEI
It will not be in CADE
More than fifty national and foreign leaders will participate, but the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, will not attend the Annual Conference of Executives – CADE 2025 that will be held in Lima next week. According to reports, official commitments related to his government management prevent the president from visiting us. The event’s organizing committee, however, thanked him for his initial interest.
SADA GORAY
in brine
Within a few weeks, senior judges María Niño Neira Ramos, José Díaz Vallejos and Rolando Martel Chang must resolve Sada Goray’s request to annul the arbitration award that exposed her acts of corruption in the Pedro Castillo government. Let’s see if good judgment and respect for referee autonomy prevail.
