The legal situation is beginning to get uphill for the former premier and congressman Betsy Chavez. Yesterday she was questioned at the National Prosecutor’s Office for being the alleged perpetrator of the crime of illicit enrichment as a result of the purchase of a property in Tacna last year. But not content with it, Castillo also dared to put pressure on Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley.
