Santo Domingo.- The Metropolitan Bus Services Operator (OMSA) announced that during the year-end celebration and the New Year’s holiday its buses will be circulating on the streets with changes in their service schedules.

According to Miguel Martínez, director of Communication of the company, by the end of the year, on Tuesday, December 31, the buses will circulate from 6:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night. While, for the New Year’s holiday, on Wednesday, January 1, the buses will work from 7:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night.

The population is reminded that from last Monday, December 23 until January 7, 2025, the institution will offer transportation service at different times. On weekdays, buses will run from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm; while on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm

It will be from Wednesday, January 8, 2025, when the Operator’s buses will circulate on the streets as usual.

In the statement, the call to the population made by the general administrator of the entity, Radhamés González, is reiterated to enjoy these days of festivities with caution, especially in the streets and roads, to together reduce the number of traffic accidents. that are usually recorded these days.
