The former president of the Superior Council of Private Enterprise (Cosep), José Adán Aguerri, was locked up again in the Managua prison known as “El Nuevo Chipote”, less than three months after being under house arrest.
A source from the Civic Alliance, an opposition organization to which the businessman belongs, confirmed to Article 66 that the transfer took place at noon on Wednesday, November 9. The same source indicated that the change in the prison system responds to reprisals by the Daniel Ortega regime against private companies.

The 60-year-old economist and political prisoner had been in “house arrest” since mid-August, due to the deterioration in his health after spending more than a year in “El Chipote.”
Soldiers have made a strong deployment in the streets of the municipality of Waspam, on the North Caribbean Coast, after the municipal elections of the regime that gave the FSLN party absolute control over local governments.
The complaint was made by the independent Urnas Abiertas observatory, which has been registering, for days, anomalous situations in the autonomous region.

A raging fire was recorded in the afternoon hours of this Thursday in the ten gunpowder sales sections, located in the Tiscapa sector, in Managua.
