Nicaragua’s vice-dictator Rosario Murillo has railed against Catholic priests and dissidents who have been banished or forced into exile, calling them “the remains of history,” satanists and demons, following the report by the UN Group of Experts on Human Rights (GHREN) which identifies the presidential couple as the main instigators of hatred against religion and perpetrators of crimes against humanity against the church.
Murillo reacted by virulently attacking those he called satanic, demonic and diabolical people who “have no place in Nicaragua,” in direct reference to Catholic religious and opposition figures who have been banished, denationalized, confiscated or forced into exile.

In her hate speech against religious people and those who oppose her politically, the vice-dictator declared herself predestined by God to, according to her, “defeat and continue to defeat” those who have opposed her dictatorship.
In a contradiction of concepts, the government spokesperson assured that her government triumphs “based on peace, on harmony, on affection, on the brotherhood that as good Christians we promote every day.”
After creating its own pageant —in an attempt to replace the work carried out by the Miss Nicaragua franchise in the country— the Ortega Murillo regime continues to increase the waste of public funds allocated for the “Queens of Nicaragua” contest. On this occasion, the Ortega regime announced an “update” of the program they have for this contest, highlighting that there are a “large number of prizes.”
«The winners of Reinas Nicaragua and the princesses will receive a number of prizes, including a vehicle of the yearand certified for a whole year of clothing, footwear, beauty treatments, treatments for all types of skin care,” Murillo revealed.
She also highlighted that these “sisters, girls, queens, princesses” also have the reward of “representing us internationally as ambassadors of love for Nicaragua.”

Last April, when the official launch of the “Nicaragua Queens” pageant was announced, the regime announced that the winners of the contest would receive, in the case of the queens, 72,000 córdobas, and the princesses, 36,000 córdobas, in addition to “packages with beauty products and technological items.” The dictatorship keeps secret where the money will be obtained and which institution will pay the prizes for the contest.
While Ortega appoints his experts in electoral fraud to “observe” the Venezuelan elections, Brazil suspended its mission. The European Union was censured from participating and the UN only sends a panel to report to the Secretary General.
Dictator Daniel Ortega, who recently offered his full support to his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro, sent a team of members of his Supreme Electoral Council (CSE) as electoral observers to monitor the votes to elect the next president of Venezuela, which will take place this Sunday, July 28.
The “monitoring” committee appointed by Ortega to “accompany” dictator Maduro in his electoral process is headed by the Sandinista political operator who serves as the presiding magistrate of the CSE, Brenda Rocha.
