The deputy dictator of Nicaragua and government spokesperson, Rosario Murillo, announced that they are proceeding to create Nicaraguan embassies in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and in Ethiopia, in Africa, and reciprocally, those countries will also open their respective diplomatic headquarters in the Nicaraguan capital. The announcement comes amid the increasingly pronounced international isolation of the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship.

In her daily monologue, through her propaganda media, the spokeswoman for the dictatorship said that they received a “beautiful message” from Kim Jong-un, the North Korean tyrant whom she called her “brother.” Murillo affirmed that they held meetings with an envoy from Jong-un and agreed to create an embassy in Pyongyang, for which they are already requesting approval.

“We assume the commitment to open embassies, we are even already delivering the request for placet for a person who will be resident ambassador in Pyongyang and they (Koreans), in reciprocity, will also send their embassy here. We are going to work together, from those political, social, cultural, diplomatic representations, to strengthen our relations,” Murillo dictated.

Citizen Elizabeth Mena Mejía, 39, was arrested on July 20 at the home of relatives in the municipality of Nueva Guinea. This was reported by witnesses who published the complaint on social networks.

The woman was arrested after publishing a video this past Wednesday, July 19, in which she is seen on a bus with other people who participated in the local activity for the anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution. In the publication, she points out that the organizers offered food to the attendees in exchange for participating in the activity.

“Here again the people are hungry in the truck, waiting for the food, which never came,” Mena said in her complaint, while focusing on the participants.

The woman is originally from the fifth district of Managua and traveled to her family to offer products that she sold to survive. She is now accused of leaking the complaint, which exposes the methods used by members of the government to fill her concentrations.

Nicaraguan sports journalist Miguel Mendoza informed that it will receive a Special Mention in the Maria Moors Cabot Awardsfrom the Columbia University School of Journalism, New York.

He also used his monologue to allude to independent journalists, describing them as an “absurd chorus of snakes, treacherous vipers, fabricators of lies, denigrating for hire, fools and deceivers.”

Forgetting her speech of love, Christianity, and brotherhood, the vice president described opponents, journalists, and human rights defenders as “subservient professionals, hit men, mercenaries, and murderers who crawl to serve their masters.”

“How to understand those who in shameless and diabolical pestilences close themselves to the cosmos, to the coexistence of all vibrations, of all energies, of all colors and vigor that make up strength and splendor (…)”, questioned the first lady.
