The Sandinista deputies and their allies in the National Assembly approved, without further discussion, the transfer of the Alternate Directorate of Conflicts (DIRAC), from the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), a action that shows that the dictator Daniel Ortega and his wife, Rosario Murillo, maintain a strategy of subtracting functions and authority from the highest court of justice in the country.
In accordance with the initiative sent urgently by Ortega to the Legislature, the Dirac is now part of the National Attorney for the Defense of Free Competition and Alternative Conflict Resolution, an entity attached to the PGR.
