The National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), as the only entity authorized to carry out the National Registry of Vehicles and Drivers, informs users about the documentation required in the Land Transportation Lawto circulate in the national territory.
According to an institutional press release, these documents are the only ones required by the competent authorities in terms of land transport, and they are the following:
one.- Identity card.
2.- Driver’s License for the degree corresponding to the vehicle (Valid).
2.- Medical Certificate to Drive (Current).
3.- Civil Liability (Current).
4.- Circulation card, without any other type of additional authorization.
In the case of Freight Transportation drivers, in addition to these requirements, they must carry the updated Cargo Transportation Operators Registry (ROTC), and for Public People Transportation drivers, they must carry the Service Provision Certification ( Valid).
As of the date, January 2023, these are the only documents required by the traffic control authorities.
